Blockchain Fundamental Design and Development

This short course is for anyone who wants to get into the world of blockchain, with a taste of theory and real-world application development. Whether or not you are participating in our awesome NFTs for Good Hackathon , this course will give you the opportunity to get a real taste of what developing blockchain applications really means.

In this short course you will :

 Learn the fundamentals of Blockchain, including Distributed Ledgers, Smart Contracts and Cryptocurrencies.

Learn to understand business problems and leverage blockchain to solve them and design efficient smart contracts.

Learn to design applications that can be implemented on most existing blockchains, such as Ethereum, and develop applications for the web using the Algorand Blockchain.

Curriculum

Week 1 : Blockchain Fundamentals 1

Learn about the blockchain network, consensus protocol , what smart contracts are.

Week 2 : Blockchain Fundamentals 2

PKI  in blockchain and wallets, blockchain layers and IPFS

Week 3 : Blockchain App Design 1

Introduction to business requirements gathering,  solution design,and smart contract design.  

Week 4 : Blockchain App Design 2

Intro to Algorand platform, networks in Algo, Consensus in Algo (PPoS) , Assets (ASA) and Accounts. Algorand Layers

Week 5 : Smart Contracts Development

Algo Smart contract, the Algo SDK , writing Smart Contracts

Week 6 : Application Development

Develop a counter DApp, Generate NFTs and trade NFTs
